Crystal paperweights make great speaker thank you gifts. There are inexpensive versions as well as higher end pieces but the inexpensive pieces are very nice. Crystal paperweights come in clear and a variety of colors. One of the Plano City libraries had regular speakers and they wanted to have an inexpensive thank you gift. Their budget was $500 because that’s what they had left from the current budget year which was about to expire. 
The price has increased some since then but they are still reasonably priced.
Some are plain glass and others are 24% lead crystal. Higher priced pieces also have special cuts or shapes which give them a unique shape or reflection. They are etched on the back so your logo or message shows through. Etching leaves a appears frosted.
